Kind of a counter-point to all the TAS of Monopoly. If you’re curious how long the CPU will play itself in Monopoly on the NES if you set it up right, the answer is far more than the number of shits given to write this description.

  5. I tried it with 2, 6, and 8 CPU players, first with just an empty board, and then by giving various properties out to the players. All the games lasted between 50 minutes and about an hour and a half. I'd thought I could get a really long game if I gave each player only one color property (assuming the CPU wouldn't trade to make a monopoly for someone else) but the result wasn't interesting. As soon as any player got a monopoly, the game was soon over.
