Kind of a counter-point to all the TAS of Monopoly. If you’re curious how long the CPU will play itself in Monopoly on the NES if you set it up right, the answer is far more than the number of shits given to write this description.

For some reason this video is super-popular in Singapore, so, yay Singapore!

  1. Why do I find this particular variation of the game terrifying 🤔

  3. This is one of the coolest things I have seen on youtube. This must have one big ass file to compress. ha

  4. WTF
9 hrs. How does youtube allow this shenanigans? 😀

  5. I don't know, but if they're not going to stop me, I'm going to keep doing it. 🙂

  6. I tried it with 2, 6, and 8 CPU players, first with just an empty board, and then by giving various properties out to the players. All the games lasted between 50 minutes and about an hour and a half. I'd thought I could get a really long game if I gave each player only one color property (assuming the CPU wouldn't trade to make a monopoly for someone else) but the result wasn't interesting. As soon as any player got a monopoly, the game was soon over.

  8. I did this one time and left it on overnight, only 1 CPU had gone bankrupt in those 8ish hours.

  9. Damn, ollie became the richest cpu in the world lol
