Product Info: Monopoly, from Hasbro Gaming, is for 2-6 players, ages 8+. It comes with a game board, 8 tokens, 60 cards, 32 houses, 12 hotels, 2 dice and money! Monopoly is a classic – it’s been around for over 80 years. So you might be wondering why I’m reviewing this game in 2018, right? I’ll give you three reasons: a duck, a penguin and a t-rex. These are the three new tokens, and they look cool. They have replaced the wheelbarrow, the boot and the thimble. Sorry thimble fans! Rounding out the token collection are the top hat, battle ship, race car, the scottish terrier, and kitty cat. So, which new game piece am I most excited about? A lot of people might go for the T-Rex, but check out this penguin! He is large and in charge. New tokens aside, Monopoly plays just as it always has – buy properties, build on them, charge rent and make more money than any of your opponents. Hey, with a game plan like that, you can even become president! Monopoly is a great game – there are currently, what seems like, endless available editions. But if you’re looking for the closest thing to the original, look no further – this is it. And if it’s been a while since you’ve played, Mr. Monopoly himself is standing by, ready to answer your questions. After all of these years, he still has the best mustache in the business.
