I'm so glad this is not a trailer of a movie because it would have been horrible movie. But I do think a Monopoly movie would be awesome if it has a good story line.
So what I can tell is: there's only three tokens to choose from and you presumably have microtransactions to unlock more, and there's no point in buying this game, you could just get the boardgame as it's the same and probably way more fun
At first I thought this was a teaser trailer for a Monopoly movie just by the thumbnail, until I read “launch trailer”. I know there was talk of a Monopoly movie some time ago, I could see it happening too! It’d be a story of how Mr. Monopoly became who he is, be kind of interesting to see the game “come to life” in a sense. He “goes to Jail” and has to “pay rent”. Maybe not a theatrical movie, tho.

are the servers going to be good enough to NOT disconnect me or my friends, this game and other board games are notoriously known for 2 things, bad servers and the devs stop updating them or not fixing issues

Just come out with one central game £30, then release diffferent cities paid dlc 2-3 times a year £5-10 each.
then obviously rerelease on the next gen.
but maybe be like minecraft were we still can play on the xbox series x from when we bought on the xbox 360/ one
if you want have a paid graphics upgrade, like sony did with horizon.
Basically comes down to how many copies off monopoly do we need, for whats always going to be the same thing. (how many suckers are out there)

honestly Monopoly has already been released several times with 3D graphics, both on PC and console, official and unofficial. At this point it'd make more sense for Hasbro to license digital ports for some of their spinoffs like Monopoly Tropical Tycoon.
