The collectible metal tokens come from the original 151 Pokemon and feature Pikachu, Bulbasaur, Squirtle, Charmander, Evee, and Jigglypuff. Money is replaced by PokeDollars and houses and hotels are now Poke Marts and Pokemon Centers, respectively. Gameplay is the same as classic Monopoly, however, the spaces are updated. Instead of properties, you are buying Pokemon, with the color groups being different Pokemon Gyms. Poke Balls have replaced railroad spaces. The legendary birds Zapdos and Articuno are special property cards–roll the dice and multiply the result by four to find out what rent you must pay–or if the owning player owns both Zapdos and Articuno–multiply by 10. Community chest and chance cards are now Professor Oak or Trainer Battles and Rival Attacks or Team Rocket Attacks replace luxury and income tax spaces.
