  1. My family are big players of my monopoly like my mom on the first day takes us all to get nuggets and Big Macs and my mom and dad get the big colas and then my sister will run a thing where you pay half the price to get McDonald’s and long as she keeps the cards. We trade them on a Facebook thingy and last year we got a VIP trip to universal studios, 50$ prepaid visa and a garden kit that we sold

  2. And if he wants more he’s got the opportunity with his winnings 😂

  3. love monopoly every time they launch 🤗

  4. They are doing it again rn and I need 1 more for the Hyperx Gaming PC Bundle

  5. i got a 20 chicken mcnugget one before

  6. Remember if you get a "Go To Jail" card they will find you there's GPS in the sticker some kinda ultra thin 5G tracker it's all a conspiracy to enslave us all.

  7. También había en las 🍟 patatas

  8. I have a tickets that say $25,000 I don’t know if I won the money or not

  9. Hmm… I haven't gone to McDonalds in a long time. I don't know if this game is (or ever was) in my country or not. But from a very quick search here on YT, it seems that prizes include free items and vouchers and other minor stuff.
Naturally, the major prizes are going to be very rare.

Now, I'm thinking maybe they (the marketing firm) had a reason for rejecting Canada when it gets picked by the machine for the major prize. (Take note: I'm not saying what they did was ok. Just that maybe they had some reason.) Like, idk, maybe it'll cost more in fees and taxes if the winner ends up being from Canada? Idk.

In any case, if that was really Jacobson's reason, that he's disappointed or whatever at what the company was doing, that this feels to him like an injustice or whatever, why is his solution to go down to their level and play dirty?

How did that work again? Colombo pays him $50k for a winning ticket. Colombo passes it on to someone (his wife) and another one (Gloria, for example), and Colombo gets $500k. How did that happen? Does Gloria not get to keep the whole million? Does she get to keep only half (it's still big money!), and the other half goes to Colombo? That way Colombo gets his $50k investment back, and earns 450k.* Jacobson, meanwhile, is $50k richer. This is for one ticket. There are more tickets, yes?
How exactly is this scheme more beneficial to McDonald's Canada customers? 🤨

If I were Jacobson, and I really wanted to give Canada at least one chance, I'll drive across the border (for whatever legal reason), find a random McDonalds and sneak in a winning pack among their stuff that will end up in a customer's hand.**

But what he did is just take away the chance from how many Americans?

Yeah, no. That thing about the rejecting Canada stuff doesn't make what the Jerrys did any less bad.

The anonymous donation to the hospital, on the other hand, if it is connected in any way to this mess, is fine. I hope all the money was used for the benefit of the patients. But if it is connected, then I suppose it was only done by someone who wanted to avoid going public and risk getting arrested. In other words, it's out of fear, not out of goodwill.

*I was just guessing so maybe that's not how it worked. Maybe Gloria did get to keep the bulk of the million. Maybe she just needed to give Robin $50k to cover for what her husband invested. I just couldn't imagine that Colombo would be willing to part with $50k without getting it back right away. Was he really willing to wait years to get it back? Or perhaps that's the reason why he took the ticket for the car. It's something he can get his hands on right away.

**This probably wouldn't have worked because I just remembered his job was to deliver the winning ticket to factories. So perhaps all he had was the sticker that needs to be attached to a cup or fries box or whatever… All I'm saying is if he really wanted to address the injustice he says was done, his way was not a solution.
